On 13–14 July 2024, Esonga Menstrual Care delivered a two-day menstrual hygiene management (MHM) training for staff of Knowledge for Children at their offices in Masaka.
The training was designed to give staff in-depth knowledge and practical skills in MHM, so that they can educate and support girls and women in the schools and communities they work with in Masaka. Esonga provided comprehensive MHM handbooks and training materials for the sessions.
Training the people who work with children every day is one of the most effective ways to make menstrual health education stick.
