On 28 May 2026, Menstrual Hygiene Day, Esonga Menstrual Care was engaged by GIZ Uganda (WatSSUP) as a menstrual hygiene specialist for a staff session held at Nyonyi Gardens.
The session focused on two practical themes: male allyship, so that men understand menstruation and support the women and girls around them, and access to safe, affordable menstrual products.
Workplace sessions like this help normalise conversations about menstruation and build support for menstrual health beyond schools and communities.
