Esonga Menstrual Care partnered with Reproductive Health Uganda (RHU) to deliver a menstrual health Training of Trainers (ToT) under the Right Here, Right Now project.
The ToT was facilitated by Esonga’s Senior Menstrual Health Trainer, Nakimbugwe Caroline, an MHM Master Trainer. It equipped participants to pass on menstrual health knowledge and practical skills within their own communities.
Through the training, Omondi Eric, Founder & CEO of Esonga Menstrual Care, trained members of the Youth Advisory Committee (YAC), including young people living with disabilities, and awarded certificates to participants who completed the course.
Esonga’s trainers have also supported RHU programming as part of wider menstrual health and SRHR work across Uganda. Partnerships like this help put accurate menstrual health information in the hands of trusted local trainers.
